In this series, Allen Cooley explores the notion of love through the visual representation of flowers. Through Cooley's lens we are afforded an intimate view of a flower's perfect imperfection. He successfully reveals the delicate nature of the flower and uses it as a metaphor to lure the viewer into the complex twist and turns of love. With the same detail that he would shoot a fashion model, the highly stylized floral portraits expresses beauty and decay that examines the confusing aspects of love and relationships.
